Hi I’m looking for a free baseball afghan pattern.Nothing too difficult .I don’t know how to do tunisian or graph type crochet yet as i am relatively new to crochet.I know SC,Dc,TR, HDC stitches.Should be a regular size blanket by this i mean not a baby blanket. One in chicago cubs colors would be a plus but not necessary.thanks!
I am only intersted in afghan’s.

if you are a beginner, this will probably be too difficult. Maybe you can try a hat instead.

You will need to learn to change colors – bring the new color through the last two loops of the last color and it’s ready to go.

Don’t be intimidated by charts or row counts. You can do these. If you don’t want to do the afghan in tunisian, you can do the same pattern in single crochet. The only challenge you’ll have is reading the chart or row count forward one row and backward the next. But you can do this – just mark the rows off as you go. I couldn’t find a free pattern but I found a cheap one:

This is a cute idea. You could make a round afghan something like this.

Here’s a free round how-to – just make it as big as you want

Otherwise, my last idea is just to do an afghan with what you know in the cub colors. It can be any pattern you like, just stripe it in cub colors.
