I’ve never made an amigurumi before and I wanted to try it, so does anyone know of any patterns that would be good for a beginner?
I already have a crochet needle, but it’s a 5.00 and most of the patterns I looked at say you should use a 4.25 needle. Is the one I already have small enough, or do I need to buy a 4.25?
Thank you~!

I diagram the pattern to figure out the little things they leave out to see if it is correct. What do you do to figure it out?
I am working on the pattern “Diamond Trelis Afghan” and find that diagraming it has helped me to figure it out. Does anyone else have this problem with them and what do you do?
