Where Can I Find Free Crochet Patterns Online?

My husbands Grandmother has asked me to crochet an “edge” on a dresser runner that she embroidered. I know basic stitches but have never worked with such fine thread before. I’d like to find something simple and pretty to put on this linen that isn’t going to make me crazy. Anyone know any sites for this type of delicate crochet? Thank you!!!

Anyone Know Any Good Crochet Or Knitting Patterns?

I’ve been looking for some nice, quick knitting/crochet patterns that don’t take much yarn and are quick to work up. thanks!

I don’t know about “postage stamp”. But, here’s the “post” stitch:http://crochet.about.com/library/weekly/…

I’m fairly new to crocheting, and have been fine reading instructions. I’m making an amigurumi beaver doll from the book “Tiny Yarn Animals” by Tamie Snow. (Just putting that there in case someone has it.) Here’s the pattern for the tail:
ch11, sc in 2nd chain from hook, sc across, ch2, working in back loops of base chain sc across, turn, sc9, 2sc in next 3 stitches, sc across, turn, 5sc, 2hdc, 2dc, 2tr, 2tr in next 3 stitches, 2tr, 2dc, 2hdc, 5sc, FO
I’m fine until sc9. Does “sc9″ mean I just do one sc in each stitch 9 times, or do I put 9 sc’s in the next stitch? And does 2hdc (etc.) mean 2 of them in the next stitch, or one of those in the next 2 stitches? Could someone clarify the pattern? Thanks!
